1. Organization

SportXevent – ASD EcotrailSicilia.

2. Date

March 29, 2026, 8:30 AM. Departure from Santarcangelo di Romagna – Piazza Garganelli.

3. General information

50 km del Marecchia is a running event along the Marecchia River, with a total length of 50 km and a difference in altitude D+/- 180 m.

Il percorso è per il 15% su asfalto e per l’85% su strada bianca.

Si ha l’obbligo, per salvaguardare la propria incolumità, di non allontanarsi dal percorso.

Il concorrente che si allontana dalle strade segnalate non è più sotto la responsabilità dell’Organizzazione.

La distanza progressiva è segnalata ogni km.

I concorrenti dovranno rispettare rigorosamente il percorso di gara segnalato evitando di prendere scorciatoie o di tagliare tratti del tracciato.

L’allontanamento dal percorso ufficiale, oltre a comportare sanzioni, avverrà ad esclusivo rischio e pericolo del concorrente.

La prova si svolgerà con qualsiasi condizione meteorologica che non metta a grave rischio l’incolumità dei partecipanti.

Il programma orario potrà subire, in base a situazioni contingenti, delle variazioni che saranno comunicate al briefing.

I concorrenti hanno l’obbligo di prestare eventuale soccorso ai partecipanti in difficoltà.

Il pettorale deve essere portato sul petto o sul ventre ed essere sempre ed interamente visibile durante tutta la corsaDeve essere quindi posizionato sopra tutti gli indumenti ed in nessun caso fissato sul sacco o su una gamba. Gli sponsor non devono essere né modificati né nascosti.

È proibito farsi accompagnare sul percorso da persone che non siano regolarmente iscritte.

È proibito ricevere cibo o liquidi al di fuori dei punti di ristoro ufficiali.

Per ragioni di sicurezza non è consentito l’uso di cuffie o auricolari per l’ascolto di i-pod o dispositivi simili.

Il tratto di percorso su asfalto non sarà chiuso al traffico veicolare, pertanto i concorrenti sono tenuti al rispetto del Codice della Strada.

In caso di abbandono della corsa lungo il percorso, il concorrente è obbligato a comunicare il proprio abbandono facendosi registrare come ritirato al posto di controllo più vicino; l’organizzazione si farà carico del suo rientro dal posto di controllo stesso all’arrivo.

Ogni concorrente rinuncia espressamente ad avvalersi dei diritti d’immagine durante la manifestazione, così come rinuncia a qualsiasi ricorso contro l’organizzazione, ed i suoi partner abilitati, per l’utilizzo fatto della sua immagine.

4. Participation

Participation is open to ACSI or FIDAL members with a medical certificate for competitive activity. Non-members may participate by applying for ACSI membership and submitting a copy of their ID, tax code, and medical certificate for competitive activity.

Atleti stranieri: la partecipazione è consentita agli atleti in possesso di certificato medico per attività agonistica. L’organizzazione provvederà al tesseramento per l’ACSI.

L’Organizzazione si riserva di non consentire la partecipazione ad atleti sanzionati per doping, a persone colpevoli di condotta antisportiva e/o immorale anche al di fuori dell’ambito sportivo, a persone che in passato hanno mostrato ostilità nei confronti dell’Organizzazione.

5. Registrations

Registrations will be open until March 24, 2026, on the website www.50delmarecchia.com

6. Registration fees

    1. The first 10 registrants: €45.00
    2. Until January 31, 2026: €55.00
    3. From February 1st to 28th: ​​€65.00
    4. From March 1st to 15th: €75.00
    5. From March 16th to 24th: €100.00IUTA and Club Supermarathon members are entitled to a 10% discount.

      The race pack is guaranteed only for those who register before March 16th.

7. Refund option

WITHOUT THIS OPTION, THE REGISTRATION FEE IS NEVER REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE TO OTHER ATHLETES OR TO THE FOLLOWING YEAR.
By adding €5.00 to the registration fee, you can:

  • Receive a 75% refund of the registration fee, or transfer 75% of the registration fee to another athlete or to the following year, if you cancel by March 15th
  • Receive a 50% refund of the registration fee, or transfer 50% of the registration fee to another athlete or to the following year, if you cancel between March 16th and 27th.

8. Payment methods

Payment of the registration fee can be made using one of the following methods:

  • Bank transfer
  • Credit card

9. Bib and race pack

Race bibs and race packs will be delivered:

  • from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, March 28th;
  • from 6:40 AM to 8:10 AM on Sunday, March 29th.

10. Cancellation

In the event of cancellation of the race due to force majeure 12 days or more before the race, the organizers will refund 50% of the registration fee paid.

In the event of cancellation due to force majeure less than 12 days before the race, no refund will be given to participants.
In the event of interruption or cancellation of the race due to weather conditions, or for any other reason beyond the organizers’ control, no refund will be given to participants.
If the event is rescheduled for a future date, the organizers will decide whether to retain the full registration fee for those already registered or apply a refund based on expenses already incurred.

11. Safety and control

Organization staff will be present along the route in constant contact with the base.

Ambulances with paramedics will be stationed at various points along the route, as well as at the start and finish.

Checkpoints will be set up along the route, where organization staff will monitor the passage of athletes.

12. Environment

Competitors must behave in an environmentally friendly manner. Littering is prohibited.

Trash bins will be located along the route, near each refreshment point, where competitors are required to dispose of used cups and any other waste.

13. Weather conditions

The organization reserves the right to suspend or cancel the race if weather conditions put the safety of participants, volunteers, or rescuers at risk.

    • GPS track on your device
    • Clothing appropriate for the weather conditions

15. Maximum time and time barrier

The maximum time to complete the race is 8 hours.

Services along the route will be available until 4:00 PM on race day.

A sweeper service will follow the last competitor along the route to assist those who have dropped out and ensure that any injured participants are not left without assistance.

16. Withdrawals

Injured athletes, those deemed unfit by medical staff to continue the race, and other athletes who wish to withdraw voluntarily must do so at the nearest refreshment point. From there, they will be accompanied to the finish line by shuttle service.

For logistical reasons, retired competitors may have to wait some time before being returned to the finish line.

Any competitor who withdraws from the race outside the designated points must make their own way back to the finish line, immediately reporting their withdrawal.

17. Refreshments

Refreshment points are located approximately every 5 km.

Only runners with a clearly visible race bib will have access to the refreshment point.
Food and drinks from the refreshment points must be consumed on site; waste must be disposed of in the designated containers.

18. Awards

Prizes will be awarded to the top three men and women in the overall rankings and to the top three in each category.

Medals will be awarded to all finishers.

There are no cash prizes.

19. Complaints

Any complaints must be submitted in writing to the circuit’s organizing secretariat within 30 minutes of the ranking being posted in the finish area, paying a deposit of €50.00 which will be returned only if the complaint is accepted.

20. Image rights

By registering, competitors authorize the organization to use, free of charge, without territorial or time limits, still and moving images depicting them during their participation in the 50 km del Marecchia.

21. Disclaimer

Voluntary registration and subsequent participation in the race indicates full acceptance of these regulations and any amendments made.

By registering, the participant releases the organizers from any liability, both civil and criminal, for damage to persons and/or property caused by or resulting from the participant.
